Pacific Coast Macadamias

On the Pacific Coast Highway (SH 35), half-way between Opotiki and Hicks Bay you will find an orchard tucked in the bush against the hill overlooking Whanarua Bay. A plantation of Macadamia trees grows in the warm coastal climate. Nut products are offered for sale in the orchard shop and visitors are welcome to linger in our café.
A visit to the orchard and cafe makes a good day trip from Rotorua, Tauranga, Whakatane or Opotiki. You may even be just looking for a break in your journey round the East Cape.
