REAF Tour - A Day with REAF Discover how to grow more fish |
|
The REAF Tour day is especially suited for the truly eco-minded of you who want to know your visit to an area actually benefits the host community. It should also appeal to any one with an interest in fishing generally. The REAF Tour day covers the four components of the REAFWAY sustainable fishing system presented in a light experiential manner adapted for the general public. This covers enhancing the environment, meeting our needs, embracing diversity and what we term 'making the connections.' © Seabed enhancement is differentiated from artificial reef building in many aspects. It is hoped that by the end of the day your appreciation of the differences will have grown. Just as the weather changes every day, so too does a day with REAF vary a little according to personal preferences, seasons and sea conditions. Essentially though the REAF Tour day is based on the following agenda.
|
REAF can cater for up to ten people at a time. We have a program to offer in most all weathers. REAF needs a minimum collective booking of 2 people to operate.
An all inclusive charge of $160 per head for adults and $100 for 8 to 16 year olds includes the following -
- All materials needed to build an enhancement module.
- Overalls, boots, gloves and safety gear as needed.
- Snacks, morning tea and drinks.
- A shared luncheon.
- Fishing rods, nets, baits, tuition.
- Transport if required.
