What are our group fitness classes
Powerbar
POWERBAR is a GREAT fat-burning class that uses barbells to give you the fastest way to tone and condition muscles! There is no JUMPING in this class and it is a great introduction to weights. The best weight training exercises are combined with great music to strengthen and shape your entire body – You will target all the main muscle groups. You choose the intensity in choosing your weights. One class equals 3 to 4 individual weight training sessions.
Circuit
CIRCUIT dramatically increases your fitness and endurance levels and is our most popular class. Machine weights and cardio-athletic aerobics combine to bring you a class that tones and defines muscles with amazing speed. You set your pace working at 45 second intervals between stations and cardio-athletic aerobics. This class is the most social able event at the gym!
Powerblazt
POWERBLAZT is a high energy and really achievable sports-inspired workout. Designed to develop your general fitness faster than any other programme, it’s the perfect preparation for sports like rugby, tennis or running – or if you want to simply improve your fitness. All the moves are simple and easy to follow – so you don’t have to think about what you are doing. There are always NO JUMP options available so you can work out to your desired intensity level.
Step
STEP is the ultimate way to give your body a high energy cardio-blast and tone the hips and thighs. With over 2,000 steps per session you'll see results in record time. Get in step with the music and you will be amazed at what you can achieve. You can set your step at three different heights depending on how much intensity you want in your workout. Beginner’s steps have no bricks underneath – while those with more jump can raise their steps up 2 bricks.
Yogalates
YOGALATES is a unique blend of Yoga, Pilates and Stretch & Relaxation exercises to build flexibility and develop core muscle strength. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches and postural moves to music create a workout that brings the body into a state of harmony. It’s the best programme to provide recovery to your body, to relieve work/family stress and to increase your flexibility. This class is your “time out” from the fast pace of modern living.
Boxfit KO
BOXFIT KO is an empowering and fiercely energetic cardio workout inspired by a wide variety of martial arts and supported by driving music. A magical compilation of punches, kicks and moves to get you to superior cardio fitness and agility while fighting your way to the level of fitness you deserve! Huge enjoyment factor with a touch of “rock n roll”.
Weights Specific Training
WEIGHTS SPECIFIC TRAINING is a personal training session on the weights equipment to target your specific conditioning needs be it tummy, legs, chest, back etc, or a combination.
Low Impact Aerobics
LOW IMPACT AEROBICS is a high intensity no jump-inspired workout. Designed to burn fat faster than any other class programme, it’s the perfect accompaniment to a good healthy eating plan where you are targeting weight loss. All the moves are simple and easy to follow – so you don’t have to think about what you are doing. There are always JUMP options available if you really want to head into the cardiovascular training zone - to improve your fitness level. Remember low impact is not low intensity….so be prepared to work your little heart out.
